Rules
- Each team consists of 3 students.
- Only one team can be registered per school.
- The event will consist of 2 rounds.
- Basic rules and regulations:
- Graphic Tablets and Styluses are NOT ALLOWED.
- AI usage is PROHIBITED.
- Personal gadgets are NOT allowed.
- Materials required (except paper) to be brought by the team for round 1.
- Judges’ decision is final and binding.
- Round 1 (Pen & Paper):
- A topic will be given to develop logos on the day of the competition.
- Each team has to make a logo on the topic in the given 45 minutes to complete the logos.
- Logos have to be made related to the given topic and on paper with any medium.
- Each logo created is marked individually according to the rubrics.
- The top 5 scoring teams will qualify for the next round.
- Round 2 (Digital):
- The 2nd round will be held on the school computers. A desktop with keyboard, mouse, and downloaded app will be provided.
- Only Inkscape app is allowed to be used for making the logo.
- Pictures from the internet can be used (for inspiration), but the final logo cannot be too similar to the inspiration.
- A total of 45 minutes will be provided for the team to create a logo on a given topic on the app. (Buffer time of 15 minutes can be taken, but at a loss of 2 points in the final score.)
- Team’s creations will be marked according to rubrics given by the judges.
