Rules
- Each team will consist of 3 students.
- Only one team can register per school.
- Round 1:
- This will be an elimination round.
- Participants will be given an answer sheet with 20 blanks for the 20 questions that will be displayed and read out aloud.
- Questions answered correctly will add 10 points.
- Some questions are bumper questions which, if answered correctly, will be awarded additional 15/20/25 points. If the bumper questions are answered incorrectly, there will be a 5 point deduction. The bumper questions will be marked with a star.
- They will be given 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Once said, questions will not be repeated.
- The top eight teams will then be chosen for round two based on the points scored.
- Round 2:
- This will follow a speed quiz format.
- There will be 5 rounds, i.e. each team will be asked 5 questions.
- Each team of the selected eight teams will be asked a question and will be given 15 seconds to answer.
- The questions will be of objective type.
- They will be science, math and logic based.
- For every correct answer the team will be allowed to place blocks in a selected pattern on the Tetris board and will be awarded 5 points. (The block pattern is chosen by the lot picked by the team.)
- For completing a horizontal row on the board they will be awarded 10 points. Top three teams on the basis of points will move to the third round.
- Round 3:
- This will also follow a quiz format.
- There will be 8 rounds, i.e. each team will be asked 8 questions.
- In this round the teams will be given a pattern to make with the Tetris Board.
- The rest of the rules will be the same as round two.
- The team with highest points will be declared the winner by the end of 45 minutes of answering the Quiz.
