• Each team will consist of 4 members.
• Only one team can register from each school.
• The event will consist of 2 rounds.
• Teams will be allowed to show presentations, bring posters, etc.
• Team will have to email any presentation to our email by 3:00 p.m. on 20th November, 2024.(Wednesday)
• A functioning product is a MUST. No images or virtual recreations will be accepted. Judges’ decision is final.
• Round 1:
• The theme is ‘Designers’ Shark Tank’. Each team will have to make a fashion accessory that is also useful in daily life. Eg: a purse with a cup holder, a walking cane as umbrella, etc.
• Teams will have to pitch their product to a panel of judges.
• A total of 6 minutes per team will be allotted with 3 minutes for pitching, and 3 minutes for taking judges’ feedback and answering their questions.
• Judges will score teams based on a multitude of factors ranging from business practicality, to innovation, to scalability and profitability.
• It is advised that participants come prepared with figures including TAM, Gross Margin, CAC, Unit Economics, and Economic of Scale.
• Round 2:
• The top 5 teams will be selected.
• They will be given 15 minutes to make plans to improvise their product based on the judges’ feedback.
• They will be given 3 minutes to share their plans to improvise.
• The teams will be awarded first, second and third places based on the points given to them by the judges.
